Anitra Androh represents developers in the acquisition and development of properties. She counsels clients in the creation of residential, commercial and mixed-use condominium regimes. As part of her representation of clients in the development and establishment of condominium regimes, she prepares development agreements, easement agreements and declarations of covenants, easements and restrictions. She also represents developers in the negotiation and settlement of statutory condominium warranty claims.
Prior to practicing law in the District of Columbia in 2005, Ms. Androh was the assistant general counsel for more than 60 housing cooperatives and condominium associations in the Chicago-land area. She was active in the advocacy of affordable housing in the City of Chicago. Many of the housing cooperatives she represented were made affordable as a result of various HUD subsidies or Below Market interest rate financing through HUD.
