Brian P. Simons

Brian P. Simons is an associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Brian was a judicial intern to the Honorable Jay Garcia-Gregory in the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. He was also a summer associate at Saul Ewing.

Before attending law school, Brian was a community educator for Planned Parenthood of Central New Jersey, an English instructor for the Burford Institute in Santiago, Chile, and managing director for Garden State Equality. In his role for Garden State Equality, Brian was responsible for assessing the strength of incoming discrimination and bias claims and referring callers to state agencies, lawyers or the executive director to work on seeking redress. He also screened potential expert and lay witnesses for testimony to the Civil Union Review Commission, a gubernatorial commission assessing the functionality of civil unions in New Jersey.
