Cristina Stummer concentrates her practice on environmental and land-use law, with a particular focus on regulatory compliance and environmental litigation in both civil and administrative forums.

Cristina counsels clients on complex air compliance and permitting matters, as well as representing clients in administrative permitting and enforcement proceedings in the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law and before EPA Region 2. She also assists clients in navigating the complex site remediation and brownfield redevelopment process. Her practice additionally includes defending clients against Federal and State claims for Natural Resource Damages and pursuing or defending claims for cost recovery under both Federal and State law.

On behalf of trade associations, Cristina has also counseled on and litigated challenges to environmental regulations, with a focus on the site remediation process.

Prior to joining Saul Ewing, Cristina was an associate at Reed Smith, LLP. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
