Patrick F. Nugent
Patrick Nugent is an associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice. Pat’s experience includes representing natural gas pipeline companies in connection with interstate pipeline projects. He has assisted with the representation of clients in such matters in state and federal courts. Pat also has experience in other areas of complex commercial litigation, including the representation of a global financial services firm in a high-value business interruption claim.
Pat is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he served as a Senior Advocate for the Employment Advocacy Project and advocated at unemployment hearings on behalf of pro bono clients. Pat was also a member of the moot court team representing Penn Law at the National Moot Court Competition in 2011. During his final year of law school, he served as Executive Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law.
Following his first year of law school, Pat worked as an intern for the Honorable Anita B. Brody in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He was a summer associate at Saul Ewing in 2011.
In addition to his Pennsylvania and New Jersey bar admissions, Pat is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
