Rob Duston represents management in employment law matters.
His practice includes counseling and advising businesses, associations and governmental entities on many and varied areas of employment and labor law and the representation of regional and national clients in federal and state trial and appellate courts and before federal and state administrative agencies.
Rob also has a broad disability law practice involving the public access provisions of the ADA and state laws. He counsels and defends businesses and institutions nationwide on construction and public accommodation claims.
Rob's representation of Higher Education institutions and nonprofit associations frequently extends beyond employment law to encompass a wide range of issues, such as academic grievance procedures, discrimination claims by students, and various transactional matters.
He is frequently tapped to speak about employment and disability law issues for national conferences, and is regularly quoted in national publications and media outlets about employment law and higher education matters.
Rob is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Third, Fourth, Sixth, Seventh, Ninth, Eleventh and D.C. Circuits, the U.S. Federal Court of Claims and the U.S. District Courts for the District of Columbia, New York and Virginia.
