An Associate in the Litigation Department, Sarah Lacey concentrates her practice on general litigation matters.

Ms. Lacey participated in Saul Ewing's 2007 summer internship program. In this capacity, she drafted interrogatories, requests for documents and requests for admissions, and researched, analyzed and drafted memoranda on highway noise abatement rules, removability of a potential class action, nuclear energy and green building incentives, and executory contracts.

While in law school, Ms. Lacey was a legal intern for the Advocacy for the Elderly Clinic of Columbus Community Legal Services in Washington, D.C. In this position, she researched and wrote an appellate brief before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and researched in preparation for an oral argument before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Ms. Lacey was also a legal intern for the Hon. Judge Royce C. Lamberth of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Prior to law school, Ms. Lacey was a field process, applications, and process engineer for USFilter-Memcor in Towson, MD. In this position, she designed and executed microfiltration pilot studies across the eastern and central United States, analyzed pilot data, optimized processes, wrote research papers comparing performance across project sites, and presented results to senior management and engineering consultants. She also worked directly with clients to develop proposals, quotes and bids for municipal and industrial projects.
