Shanna P. O'Neal

Shanna O'Neal is special counsel in the Litigation Department where she concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on white collar defense and securities litigation.

Immediately prior to joining Saul Ewing, Ms. O’Neal was a staff attorney for an Am Law 100 law firm where she defended pharmaceutical companies in government investigations. She brings to the firm experience in corporate governance, business fraud and tort matters and contract disputes.

Ms. O’Neal has represented clients in commercial disputes for breach of contract, business torts, and fraud. She has worked extensively in a multi-million dollar bankruptcy litigation matter and was actively involved in the representation of former corporate directors in a shareholder derivative lawsuit. Ms. O’Neal was part of a team that served as counsel to the Independent Examiner in an SEC investigation into a Fortune 500 company’s accounting practices.

In addition to her state bar admissions, Ms. O’Neal is admitted to practice before the U.S. Districts Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey.
