Terri Currier concentrates her practice on all aspects of Chapter 11 bankruptcy and insolvency counseling, including out of court restructurings and workouts and federal court litigation in the Delaware court system. She also routinely advises clients on Uniform Commercial Code issues. Additionally, Terri supervises the firm's Social Media Guidelines and assists clients creating their own internal policies governing social media. Prior to joining Saul Ewing, Terri served as in-house counsel to Marine Midland Business Loans, Inc., a middle-market asset based lender.

As Chair of the Women’s Development Initiative, Terri is a passionate advocate for the firm’s women attorneys and has created a collaborative and energizing environment for them both within the firm and in the outside community. She represents the firm in regional and national diversity and marketing efforts targeting women in-house counsel and clients who value commitment to diversity in outside counsel. Terri mentors and fosters the firm’s younger women, celebrates their achievements and acumen and shares her passion for empowerment and growth with everyone she meets.

  • Represented the debtor in Universal Building Products, a Chapter 11 reorganization of a manufacturer of cement and cement-related building products

Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Representations: Committee work

  • Represented the Official Committee of Equity Security Holders in the WRGrace bankruptcy proceeding
  • Represented the Official Committee of Equity Security Holders of General Growth Properties with respect to its claims work and the claims objection and resolution process
  • Represented the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the KLCG bankruptcy proceeding

Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Representations: Creditor work

  • Represented a major insurer in the Chapter 11 reorganization of the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, Delaware
  • Represented a secured creditor in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceeding of Townsend Farms
  • Represented a contract party in its disputes in the Solyndra bankruptcy proceeding
  • Represented a manufacturer of catalysts in its contract disputes with GM and its bankruptcy estate
