Tyler Pepple concentrates his practice on environmental and energy law. He handles regulatory compliance matters before state agencies, such as the Maryland Public Service Commission, as well as state and federal environmental litigation matters. Tyler’s areas of focus include energy and utility matters, compliance with air and water pollution control laws, and hazardous waste litigation.
Immediately prior to joining Saul Ewing, Tyler worked for the Maryland Attorney General's Office as an associate attorney for the Maryland Department of the Environment. While there, he was responsible for handling enforcement and permitting actions, including those involving the Federal Clean Water Act and Coastal Zone Management Act, as well as Maryland's water and sediment pollution control laws, its Non-Tidal Wetlands Act, and its residential lead-based paint laws.
Before going to law school, Tyler was the Director of Education for the Earth Day Network.
In addition to his Maryland and District of Columbia bar admissions, Tyler is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
