Jason St. John focuses his practice on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on trademark and intellectual property litigation, telecommunications litigation, real estate litigation, commercial lease litigation and insurance coverage disputes. He represents professionals in lawsuits alleging professional malpractice, including real estate brokers/agents and insurance brokers.
Mr. St. John has aided carriers and tower companies in zoning and siting processes, including representing carriers in litigation arising from infrastructure placement.
His experience also includes counseling and assisting clients with registering and policing domain names, including domain name disputes under ICANN's Uniform Domain Dispute Resolution Policy. He has also litigated federal cases under the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Mr. St. John is an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland School of Law where he teaches courses in pre-trial civil litigation and appellate advocacy. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
