An associate in the Business and Finance Department, Dan Santos has extensive experience in providing general corporate, transactional and business law counseling to public companies, privately owned businesses and nonprofit organizations in a variety of industries. Mr. Santos is a member of the firm's Ports and Maritime, Insurance and Health Law practice groups. His practice also focuses on advising clients regarding various state/federal regulatory and compliance issues impacting these industry groups.
Mr. Santos frequently writes articles and delivers presentations for clients, trade organizations and bar associations on a variety of topics, often involving the latest legislative and regulatory developments affecting his clients and other industry segments.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Santos was a Special Operations Officer in the U.S. Navy. He served on active duty for seven years, and specialized in diving and salvage, and surface warfare operations.
