Saul Ewing hosts seminar about Affordable Care Act compliance
Attorneys in the Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits Practice will host a seminar on the “Affordable Care Act: What Employers Need to Know” in three cities in March 2013. The event will feature employers and Saul Ewing attorneys Dan S. Brandenburg , Joanne G. Jacobson and Paul M. Heylman explaining how to prepare for and comply with the new healthcare law. Robert H. Louis, co-chair of the Personal Wealth, Estates and Trusts Practice, will moderate the seminar in Philadelphia.
Topics will include: background on the Act and rules already in effect; upcoming deadlines and tips on preparing to meet them; and potential problems resulting from the employer mandate scheduled to go into effect on January 1, 2014 and possible solutions for minimizing the impact.
This program is ideal for key decision-makers who oversee corporate health benefits including general counsels, human resources executives and c-level executives. Breakfast and registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. followed by the program from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The dates, times and locations are:
