Seventeen Clients Join WDI for Cooking Class at Baltimore's Brasserie Tatin

November 10, 2008

Seventeen clients from such companies as Constellation Energy, NRT, Inc., Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System and the Maryland Public Service Commission, joined 16 members of the Women's Development Initiative (WDI) for a well-received cooking class at Brasserie Tatin, a contemporary French restaurant in Baltimore.

The participants broke into groups to prepare two classic French entrees: Beef Bourguignon or Cassoulet. "It was a great event," said Indira Sharma, a litigation associate who planned the class, which received rave reviews. Julie Simon, with Constellation Energy, who attended the event with her daughter, Molly, a first-year law student, said it was an excellent opportunity to meet different female attorneys.

Buoyed by the feedback, the WDI plans to do similar events to broaden connections that create relationships and business opportunities.
