Seven Saul Ewing attorneys are on the faculty for this one-day Lorman Education Services seminar that will provide an overview of practical methods that can be used to keep a company out of legal trouble.

James E. Goodrich, an Associate in the Real Estate Department in the Baltimore office, will present "Selected Owners' Issues with Respect to AIA Contract" at 9:45 a.m. William W. Warren, Jr., a Partner in the Business Department and member of the Technology Transactions and IP Practice Group in the Harrisburg office, will give a 45-minute presentation, "Risk Allocation During the Bidding and Negotiating Process," at 10:30 a.m.

 Joel C. Hopkins, an Associate in the Business and Litigation departments in the Harrisburg office, will present, "Insurance and Suretyship Considerations" at 11:15 a.m.

George E. Rahn, Jr., a Partner in the Litigation Department in the Philadelphia office and Co-Chair of the Firm's Construction Practice Group, will present, "Identifying and Evaluating Claims" at 1:45 p.m.

Kimberly A. Manuelides, Special Counsel in the Litigation Department  in the Baltimore office, will give a 30-minute presentation, "Mechanics' Liens" at 3 p.m.

"Hot Topics in Maryland Construction Law" will be co-presented by Edward J. Baines, a Partner in the Litigation Department and Francie Cohen Spahn, an Associate in the Real Estate Department, both resident in the Baltimore office, at 4 p.m.
