Joel R. Burcat, chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Practice Group, and George Asimos, a partner in the Environment and Natural Resources Practice Group, are instructors at this PBI seminar, which will cover the impact that the discovery of obtainable gas in the Marcellus Shale has had from West Virginia through New York affecting numerous Pennsylvania landowners. Attendees will understand what the “gold rush” is all about, including the ins and outs of practicing in this developing area and becoming familiar with topics such as title defects, leasing and land use issues, surface rights and division of royalties.
The program will be held at the PBI Conference Center in Mechanicsburg on September 14, and at the Professional Development Conference Center in Pittsburgh on September 29. Both will begin at 9 a.m. For more information and to register, click here.
