Partner Eric G. Orlinsky appointed to MSBA Board of Governors
(Baltimore, MD, February 26, 2013) – Saul Ewing LLP is proud to announce that Eric G. Orlinsky, Chair of the Corporate Practice, has been elected to the Maryland State Bar Association’s Board of Governors for the 2013-2014 term. As Governor of the MSBA Business Law Section, Orlinsky will be among the first “Section” appointed members of the Board of Governors, pursuant to bylaw amendments adopted last year.
“We know that Eric will make an excellent contribution to the MSBA Board of Governors and will assist President-elect Mike Baxter, who now serves as our BOG liaison,” said William E. Carlson, Chair of the MSBA Business Law Section Council.
Orlinsky has a long-standing association with the MSBA, having served as Chair of its Business Law Section from 2007 to 2008. He also previously served as the Business Law Section Vice Chair of the MSBA Committee on Unincorporated Associations, and as Chair of the MSBA Committee on Business and Corporate Litigation/Business Courts.
In addition, Orlinsky is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, has been named one of "Maryland's Legal Elite" by Baltimore SmartCEO and has been selected for inclusion in Maryland Super Lawyers every year since 2010.
Orlinsky received his law degree, with honors, from the University of Maryland School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from The Johns Hopkins University.
