Sharma named to The Daily Record’s “Top 100 Women”
Indira Sharma, special counsel in Saul Ewing’s Litigation Practice, has been named one of Maryland’s “Top 100 Women” by The Daily Record. According to the publication, a record 435 women were nominated this year. The nominees were evaluated based on their applications outlining their educational and career history, professional and community involvement, corporate and nonprofit board memberships, mentoring experience, as well as letters of recommendation submitted by those familiar with their accomplishments.
"This year's Maryland's Top 100 Women honorees lead companies, create change, break barriers, chart new territory and inspire future generations," said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. "These women make a difference at home, at work and in their communities.”
An awards event to honor Indira and her fellow winners will be held Monday, April 24, starting at 5 p.m. at Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, 1212 Cathedral St., in Baltimore. The awards will be presented at 6:30 p.m. followed by a dessert reception.
