National Bar Association names Brooks to Top 40 Under 40 List
Jacqueline A. Brooks, a partner in Saul Ewing’s Business and Finance Practice, has been chosen as one of the “Nation’s Best Advocates: Top 40 Under 40” by the National Bar Association (NBA), the oldest and largest network of predominantly African American attorneys and judges.
This honor recognizes talented lawyers who work in private practice, government and business as well as judges, academics and elected officials who have achieved prominence and distinction, professionally and philanthropically, by their 40th birthdays. Honorees are chosen based on their achievement, innovation, vision, leadership, and legal and community involvement.
Jacque concentrates her practice in corporate and commercial law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. She counsels clients on stock and asset acquisitions and assists companies looking to finance their operations through commercial loans or private equity transactions. Jacque has experience representing public companies, privately owned and managed companies, nonprofit organizations and start-up companies and provides general counsel to these organizations regarding corporate matters.
The NBA will recognize Jacque and others receiving this honor at an awards gala later this year in Toronto during the organization’s 92nd Annual Convention.
