Overview

Austin Strine represents clients in complex civil litigation in state and federal courts. His experience includes matters ranging from data privacy and cybersecurity issues and commercial breach of contract claims to corporate and shareholder disputes and business defamation cases. He also represents business clients in defending claims of medical malpractice, employment discrimination, and civil rights violations. 

Austin's insight on cybersecurity issues in particular is informed by his completion of a Harvard University course on Managing Cybersecurity Risk in the Information Age as well as a Northwestern Pritzker School of Law course on Data Privacy Law and Data Protection.

Austin drafts and argues motions as well as handles depositions and witness preparation. His work on discovery requests and responses includes experience with extensive analysis of e-discovery and electronically stored information. Austin also conducts mediations and has completed mediation training required under Maryland Court Rules.

Austin was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Glenn T. Harrell, Jr., senior judge for the Court of Appeals of Maryland. While in law school, he interned for Honorable Marvin J. Garbis in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
