Chad E. Davis
Chad Davis assists with litigation in Delaware courts and advises on fiduciary duty and contract issues under Delaware law. Chad also has experience representing corporate fiduciaries in federal district court in litigation asserting fiduciary duty and federal securities law claims. He also advises boards of directors on Delaware law and drafts and revises board-level documents.
Chad's understanding of Delaware law is informed by his experience, following law school, serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Vice Chancellor Sam Glasscock III in the Delaware Court of Chancery. In law school, Chad served as a student attorney in the Duke Children's Law Clinic representing clients in various education law matters. Chad was also an intern to both U.S. Sen. Tom Carper and U.S. Rep. Mike Castle during his undergraduate years at the University of Delaware.
Chad serves as a volunteer guardian ad litem attorney to children in the Delaware Family Court.
