Chihao Wang is a registered patent agent who draws on his scientific background in biochemistry to assist clients in protecting their innovations. Chihao has intellectual property experience in a broad spectrum of technology areas, including biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmaceutics, medical devices, material science, nanotechnology, semiconductor and mechanical science.

Chihao’s experience includes drafting new patent applications, responses to office actions by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and pre-appeal and appeal briefs. Prior to his career in intellectual property, Chihao was a research scientist and teacher while earning his Ph.D. in biochemistry at Hong Kong University of Science and  Technology. Chihao also has a master’s degree in intellectual property  law from University of New Hampshire School of Law. Chihao is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and can understand Cantonese
