Douglas D. Anderson

Doug Anderson is a member of the Litigation Department in the Firm's Minneapolis office. He maintains a general litigation practice and handles a variety of matters involving complex commercial disputes.

Before joining the Firm, Doug was a law clerk for Justice Brent R. Appel in the Iowa Supreme Court. During his clerkship, Doug assisted with the completion of more than 40 opinions, concurrences and dissents. While earning his J.D. at the University Iowa College of Law, he was a summer associate for a law firm where he worked on matters involving property taxes and labor and employment. He was also a research assistant at his law school.

Prior to law school, Doug worked as a field organizer for presidential candidate Martin O’Malley. During his undergraduate studies, he interned at the Government Accountability Office.
