Overview

Doug Sampson assists with a variety of matters involving commercial litigation, real estate and telecommunications.

Doug draws on knowledge from a number of relevant work experiences, including a judicial internship for the Honorable Deborah K. Chasanow in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, a summer associateship for Saul Ewing and a clerkship for Cohan, West and Karpook, P.C.

While in law school at the University of Maryland, Doug was the captain of the National Trial Team and lead counsel in five national tournaments. Additionally, he was a member of the National Moot Court Team and in 2014 he was named the overall champion of the Morris B. Myerowitz Court Competition.

Doug also participated in the University of Maryland School of Law Clinical Program where he was a practicing student attorney.

Prior to law school, Doug spent six years as a television journalist in Hagerstown, Maryland and Buffalo, New York where he covered local politics, legal cases and other current events.
