Emily Kelsay is a member of the Transactional Department in the Firm's Baltimore office. She maintains a general corporate practice and assists with a variety of deals. She has experience with matters involving commercial contracts, director and officer fiduciary duties and shareholder disputes.

Prior to joining the firm, Emily was a judicial clerk for the Honorable A. David Copperthite in the U.S. District Court of the District of Maryland. While earning her J.D. at University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, Emily was a student attorney in the school’s Consumer Bankruptcy Clinic, where she assisted with Chapter 7 bankruptcy petitions and represented clients in related hearings, including 341 meetings and reaffirmation hearings. She was also a judicial intern for the Honorable George L. Russell in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the Honorable W. Michel Pierson in the Circuit Court of Baltimore City.
