Jim Goodrich handles commercial real estate transactions and construction contracts across the United States for developers, owners, higher education institutions and major construction companies. Jim's approach to negotiations is to start with commercially reasonable documents and then to cut to the core issues that need to be resolved in a deal as efficiently and as quickly as possible

A hallmark of Jim's practice is the development of long-term relationships. Jim has worked with several clients for well over a decade and in a few instances for nearly two decades. Jim is fond of saying that the first matter from a client is the most difficult one to obtain, as the client needs to take a leap of faith and entrust a matter to a new attorney, but that the second matter and each successive matter are more rewarding because they confirmed that the client has been happy with the prior work.
