Jing Zhao is a corporate attorney who advises U.S. and international corporations on transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, cross-border deals, joint ventures, strategic entity formation and business planning, issuances of equity and debt, and other contractual matters. Jing's law career is informed by her experiences in both private practice and professional services. Most recently, Jing worked as a mergers and acquisitions tax associate at a big four accounting firm, where she provided tax advisory services to multinational corporations, partnerships and private equity firms in the areas of tax planning for acquisitions and divestitures, distressed company restructurings, and federal tax due diligence. Jing also assisted with deal structuring and negotiations, and crystallized terms in written contracts. Jing is a native Mandarin Chinese speaker. She also speaks Cantonese conversationally.
Jing was an extern to Justice Karen Baker of the Arkansas Supreme Court and a clerk with the Honorable Robin Wynne, who at the time was a judge in the Arkansas Court of Appeals.
