Overview

John Paul Regan is a member of the Litigation Department in the Firm's Pittsburgh office. He maintains a general litigation and appellate practice, with a focus on business disputes, complex commercial litigation and regulatory matters. John Paul's experience spans from the earliest stages of litigation, handling pleadings, discovery, motions and depositions, through trial, including serving as lead and second-chair counsel in jury and bench trials. John Paul also supports clients in appellate matters, including drafting appellate briefs, petitions for review, applications for reargument and presentation of oral arguments.

Before entering private practice, John Paul served as deputy law clerk for the Honorable Mary Janes Bowes in the Pennsylvania Superior Court. During his clerkship, he worked on both civil and criminal cases. While earning his juris doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, John Paul worked in Legal and Corporate Affairs for an energy company, where he assisted with corporate and litigation matters.
