Marisa De Feo is a litigator who handles complex commercial disputes, real estate claims, and an array of matters for the higher education industry. Her experience includes cases filed in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey state and federal courts.

Marisa represents corporate clients facing claims involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and other related issues. She also has experience with cases involving corporate board issues, including those that arise in the Delaware Court of Chancery. In addition, Marisa defends financial services companies, student loan servicers, and other clients against complex claims arising from federal and state consumer protection laws.

Her experience with real estate matters includes disputes between brokers and buyers and quiet title actions. She also handles landlord-tenant disputes, including eviction and ejectment actions, confessions of judgment, and breach of lease claims. 

In addition to her commercial litigation and real estate work, Marisa handles a wide range of litigation for higher education and K-12 entities. Her work for these clients ranges from employment disputes and civil tort claims to cases involving faculty relations, board governance, First Amendment issues, and student conduct including Title IX matters. She also advises them on issues involving compliance, policy, and liability, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and similar laws.

Outside of her practice, Marisa's ability to seek input from multiple interests and address complex problems is demonstrated by her work as a board member of the Justinian Society of Philadelphia and the March of Dimes.
