Michael P. Cianfichi

​Michael Cianfichi focuses his practice on assisting employers with labor and employment matters affecting their businesses. His work includes providing representation in Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) investigations and submitting position statements. When issues raised by investigations cannot be solved administratively, he assists with related litigation in state and federal courts, including discrimination and retaliation lawsuits. He also handles arbitration disputes, mediation and settlement conferences.

While earning his law degree at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, Michael was a student attorney and mentor in the low income taxpayer clinic and a law clerk in the Felony Major Crimes Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of Columbia.

Michael has also provided pro bono representation in matters involving prisoner civil rights, immigration and educational disability rights
