Partner

Richard Gass is a seasoned real estate and corporate attorney, with more than 40 years of experience counseling owners, developers and investors in a wide variety of complex real estate projects and related business arrangements.

In addition to many years in private practice, Richard worked in house with a large development company during the period 1984-1992, where he served as the company's General Counsel as well as being one of the company's key principals, in a business that included townhouse, multi-family, single-family, office, industrial and research and development projects throughout the eastern United States. This background helps him to understand his clients' business goals, acting both as a strategist and counselor. His experiences during that period provide him with perspectives and insights which are of great value to him in working with his clients on joint ventures, difficult acquisitions and dispositions and complex financing arrangements and workouts with lenders.
