Overview

Yogini Bhavsar-Jog (Ph.D.) focuses on drafting and prosecuting patents in the areas including biochemistry, molecular biology, pharmaceuticals, biologics, nanotechnology, physics, chemical engineering and medical devices.  In addition to the United States, Yogini is involved in managing prosecution of patent applications in jurisdictions including Australia, China, Europe, Japan, Korea and India.

Prior to joining Saul Ewing, Yogini worked for a boutique intellectual property firm in New Jersey, where she was mainly involved in drafting patents and formulating arguments for responding to Office Actions.

During her postdoctoral work at The University of Pennsylvania, she was selected as a technology transfer fellow for Penn Center for Innovation (PCI) where she worked on assessing technical, IP and commercial aspects of innovations for researchers who were trying to translate their findings into marketable technology to benefit the society.
