Posted: July 29, 2015

Arnstein & Lehr Miami Partner Ronald Fieldstone was quoted in the South Florida Business Journal article, “EB-5 a good solution for Miami’s affordable housing woes, experts say.” In the article, authored by Senior Reporter Brian Bandell, Mr. Fieldstone provided insight on the EB-5 program as Miami considers using foreign investments to solve the city’s shortage of affordable housing. Blandell wrote:

"Ronald Fieldstone, an attorney with Arnstein & Lehr, said EB-5 investors' main goal is to obtain green cards for themselves and their families, not to get a good return on investment. They would still like to get their money back. He noted that 85 percent of EB-5 investors are from China. Latin America is a small player in EB-5, but Fieldstone expects that to pick up as funds continue to flow out of that region."
