2014 Emerging Companies Roundtable Series
Saul Ewing LLP hosts this monthly roundtable series for emerging companies to get together and share ideas, experiences and insight unique to entrepreneurs and the start-up environment. The Roundtables facilitate discussions between like-minded individuals covering a range of issues of importance to early stage companies. At each session, thought leaders who bring significant practical experience in several industries introduce valuable topics and generate conversations surrounding strategies to overcome business challenges and enhance the likelihood of success. The result is an illuminating exchange of ideas and experiences that ultimately leave participants with greater insight into the nuances of their businesses.
The discussions take place from 8 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. The first session of each month is held at Saul Ewing’s Baltimore office and the second session is held at The Germantown Innovation Center in Germantown, MD or at the BioMaryland Center in Rockville, MD. Please see chart below for details.
Given the burgeoning start-up scene in Maryland and recent news coverage of a decision in Montgomery County to transform one of the largest biotech incubators into a cybersecurity center, some start-ups are in the process of relocating. There is much to consider when faced with relocating. To assist start-ups with the relocation process, Saul Ewing attorneys prepared an information sheet that covers key issues.
