New Twists on Old Problems: Evolution and Development of Two Core Concepts in the Consumer and Commercial Insolvency Practice

Andrew Rudolph, an associate in the Firm's Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice, will present during the Chicago Bar Association-Young Lawyers Section Bankruptcy Committee's seminar, New Twists on Old Problems: Evolution and Development of Two Core Concepts in the Consumer and Commercial Insolvency Practice. This presentation will cover how the addition of Subchapter V to the Bankruptcy Code, which is intended to facilitate small business reorganizations, affects what chapter an individual debtor may decide to seek bankruptcy protection under.  Andrew will address the current state of the law of corporate veil piercing,which has continued to evolve and develop during the COVID-19 pandemic.
