Health Care Reform: Strategies for Compliance in 2014 and Beyond

In this CLE program, Sarah “Sally” Lockwood Churc, a member of the Labor, Employee and Employment Benefits Practice, will highlight the ACA challenges employers face for 2014.

The presentation will provide practical advice on how “large employers” can prepare for and comply with the employer shared responsibility requirements (sometimes called the “employer mandate” or “pay or play”), now scheduled for enforcement in 2015. In addition, Ms. Church will discuss penalties and potential litigation for non-compliance with ACA mandated benefits, as well as alternatives for avoiding (or reducing) the risk of “pay or play” penalties.

The one-hour seminar will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Saul Ewing’s office in Philadelphia, located at Centre Square West, 1500 Market Street, 38th Floor. Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. before the event.
