Regulatory Compliance, Winning and Performing Government Contracts

Starting a business and moving to revenue requiorlinsres so much more than a great concept and persuasive business plan. Your entity could very well be subject to regulatory requirements, state, federal, and/or international. A first step to ensuring compliance is to know which regulations could apply to your industry.  Similarly, there may be obligations if the underlying invention was obtained with government funding. Also of importance is the fact that the federal government is a huge organizational entity—and just like any other business or organization, the government needs to purchase goods and services in order to function effectively. Doing business with the federal government is different than doing business with commercial companies.  The differences begin at the proposal stage and continue through contract performance.  Perhaps a  government contract is in your future? Please join us to discuss.

The Emerging Company Roundtables are designed to facilitate discussions between like-minded individuals covering a range of issues essential to early stage companies. Speakers will introduce valuable topics and generate conversations surrounding strategies to overcome business challenges and enhance the likelihood of success

The event will take place at the firm’s Baltimore office, 500 East Pratt Street, Suite 900 in Baltimore, Maryland and begins at 8:30 a.m. Networking will follow ending at 10:30 a.m.  A light breakfast will be served.
