Philadelphia Emerging Company Roundtable Discussion - November 8

Event Dates: November 8, 2018
Services: Emerging Company and Entrepreneur Services | Resources, Access and Mentoring Program (RAMP)

Crowdfunding and Other Sources of Non-Dilutive Funding

Last year, over $34 billion was raised through Kickstarter, Indiegogo and similar crowdfunding platforms.  So, what companies and projects are best suited to this type of funding, and how can you take advantage of this and other forms of "free" financing?  This discussion will also focus on best practices for securing funding without sacrificing your ownership interest. Share your experiences and learn from others about different revenue streams that are available to emerging companies.

This discussion will be held within our Philadelphia office at Centre Square West, 1500 Market St., Philadelphia.  The event begins with registration at 8:00 a.m. The one-hour roundtable session starts at 8:30 a.m. with networking to follow until 10:00 a.m. A light breakfast will be served.

From Public Transportation (regional rail or subway), the Philadelphia Office is a short cab ride from 30th Street Station or about a one mile walk. You may also travel up the ramp at 30th Street Station and take any regional rail line to the next inbound stop at Suburban Station and follow the signs to 16th and Market. Parking is also located under the Centre Square building (enter from 16th Street).

The Emerging Company Roundtables are designed to facilitate discussions between like-minded individuals covering a range of issues essential to early stage companies. Speakers will introduce valuable topics and generate conversations surrounding strategies to overcome business challenges and enhance the likelihood of success.
