Doing Business in the Northeast: 5th Bi-Annual Current Issues in Environment and Energy Conference


Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr is hosting their Bi-Annual Environment and Energy Conference in Houston, Texas.  This half day MCLE program will bring prominent industry representatives to Houston to share their insights on the latest developments with environmental and development projects and the growing energy industry in the Northeast. Topics will include:

• PA’s Environmental Rights Amendment:  How Its Rebirth is Changing Projects in the Mid-Atlantic
• Emerging Issues and Opportunities for Renewable Power in the Mid-Atlantic Region
• The Shape of Water: Is it a Sword or a Shield?
• Ethics of Communications with Employees, Agents and Affiliates of Represented Parties

Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr’s Houston Environment and Energy Symposium is designed to provide both in-house counsel and business executives with perspective on, and practical strategies for, evaluating energy development opportunities, site remediation projects and environmental issues at a time when the Mid-Atlantic region has its greatest potential to reshape the world economy. 

The event will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel in Houston, Texas from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

An application for accreditation of this activity has been submitted to the MCLE Committee of the State Bar of Texas and is pending.
This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 3 hours of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit and 1 hour of ethics, professionalism or substance abuse CLE credit.
This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 4 hours of total CLE credit.  Of these, 1 qualifies as hours of credit for ethics/professionalism, and zero qualify as hours of credit toward certification in civil trial law, criminal trial law, workers compensation law, municipal court law, and/or matrimonial law.
