Tip-Toeing Through the Minefield: What Can a Party Communicate to its Expert Without Risking Discovery in Litigation in Pennsylvania Courts?

Tim Callahan, a partner in the Commercial Litigation Practice, will speak during this morning of CLE seminars run by the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. He and co-presenter Megan King, counsel for Brandywine Realty Trust, will discuss how Pennsylvania state courts have historically viewed discovery rules relating to discussions between counsel and a testifying expert witness. Tim will also explain how a pending court case could change this understanding of the rules.

Saul Ewing is a sponsor of the Litigation CLE Institute, which will take place from 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at The Union League of Philadelphia, 140 S. Broad Street, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For more details, including registration information, click here.
