Full Steam Ahead: Implications for the Maritime Industry

Paul M. Heylman, a partner in the Business and Finance Practice and chair of the Ports and Maritime Practice, will be a panelist for the discussion, "Full Steam Ahead: Implications for the Maritime Industry," which will take place on November 15, 2012 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The discussion will involve how the maritime industry is directly affected in port as well as in at sea operations by changes to coastal infrastructure and maritime operating conditions caused by climate change. Panelists will consider specific issues of interest to the maritime industry such as risks to port infrastructure, changes in emission and discharge regulations, and navigation and safety concerns.
