Wendell F. Holland, partner in the Energy and Utilities Practice and former Chairman of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, presented, “Common Futures: Energy Efficiency, Sustainability, Economic Opportunity and AABE” at this three-day conference in Long Beach, California designed to educate and bring together professionals involved in the energy industry. The conference showcased energy experts, academics and executives from around the country who discussed and debated the Power of Energy in the United States.

The AABE stands for American Association of Blacks in Energy. Its annual conference provides access to innovative energy solutions and experts, visionaries, corporate and small business leaders from across the nation. Wendell’s presentation focused on how energy efficiency is good corporate and public policy, survives and thrives in the context of a major energy merger and can combine with diversity initiatives to achieve even broader goals.
