The Washington, DC office and the Higher Education Practice of Saul Ewing LLP are proud to be a sponsor of this policy forum, presented by the DC Chamber of Commerce.

Washington, DC Mayor Vincent Gray will moderate a panel of five university presidents that will discuss how District universities help create jobs and foster the economic vitality of the nation’s capital. Universities are the District’s largest private employers, contributing pro-bono assistance programs and to the city’s economic health through job creation and buying power. In 2010, universities as a whole spent $1.42 billion in the city, according to a report by the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area.
