Saul Ewing to host panel of Brazil business experts
Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world in terms of land mass and population with about 200 million people, and Brazil's economy is the 6th largest in the world with a growing middle class, and a large and diversified economy and U.S. exports are increasing rapidly.
The government is investing on the development of the local biopharmaceutical and other technical sectors through partnerships and by technology transfer. However, doing business in Brazil requires intimate knowledge of the local environment. In addition to tariffs, U.S. companies find complex customs, legal and regulatory systems.
On September 30, Philadelphia's Licensing Executive Society and Saul Ewing welcome an esteemed panel of Brazil business experts to provide an informal discussion covering different topics and case studies on how to do business in Brazil and succeed. Our panel includes:
- Patricia F. Dickey, President and Founding Member, Brazil-PA Chamber of Commerce and the Ytellis Global Consultancy
- Beth DeSouza, Independent Strategy Consultant
- Domingos Silva, Ph.D., JD, Registered Patent Attorney, Saul Ewing
- Dave Weiler, Principal, AUS Consultants and Managing Director, RoyaltySource
