In an article that appears on page eight, Bruce D. Armon, a partner in the Health Law Practice, reviews a case before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado that addresses whether the quality assurance privilege protects healthcare documents from a plaintiff. The court ruled that the quality assurance privilege did not protect the hospital from withholding the documents from the plaintiff.

Armon also discusses a case before the California Court of Appeal, Fifth Appellate District about whether a health system can eliminate a provider's position before the courts involved make permanent decisions.
