Arnstein & Lehr's South Florida Partner Featured as Real Estate Expert in Brexit Articles
Britain's recent decision to exit the European Union has impacted South Florida, where there is a population of about 26,000 who were born in the United Kingdom. Arnstein & Lehr LLP partner Louis Archambault, who has experience working with European investors, was quoted in several publications discussing the political crisis and what changes are in store for South Florida's real estate market.
In The Real Deal article, “Brexit: panic pervades – yet Miami may benefit,” Mr. Archambault states, “When there is a lot of uncertainty you look for a stable situation, and a lot of real estate investments are safe investments in terms of land banking.”
In the Daily Business Review article, “Could Brexit Be Boon or Bust for South Florida Real Estate Market?” he comments on the state of the Euro: “I can’t see the Euro being strong while this is ongoing.”
Mr. Archambault also appeared in the GlobeSt.com article, "How Brexit Will Impact Miami Commercial Real Estate." The local Miami ABC news station covered the topic as well, quoting Mr. Archambault in the article, "Brexit could mean big boom for Miami real estate market, experts say." Daniel Kodsi, CEO of Paramount Miami Worldcenter, also quoted in the ABC article, was a panelist at Arnstein & Lehr's Annual Advanced EB-5 Seminar on May 20, 2016, held in Miami. Mr. Kodsi is a developer of 24 Florida communities.
