Gabriel L.I. Bevilacqua, a Partner in Saul Ewing's Litigation Department in the Firm's Philadelphia office, was given knighthood and the title "cavaliere" by the Republic of Italy in a decree by H.E. Azeglio Ciampi, the Italian President. Mr. Bevilacqua was honored because of his service on behalf of Americans of Italian descent. Only 700 Americans have been given this title by Italy.
