Court Approves Minuti's Client's Liquidation

"Court Approves Liquidation of the Wiz", The New York Times

May 28, 2005

Mark Minuti, Partner in Saul Ewing's Bankruptcy and Restructuring Department and Managing Partner of the Firm's Wilmington, Delaware office, was quoted in this article about his client, TW, a defunct electronics retailer, which ran the Wiz chain. TW won a bankruptcy court confirmation of its liquidating plan in a lawsuit against Cablevision Systems Corporation, its former parent, on May 27. TW said that Cablevision misled suppliers about the financial backing available to the Wiz stores. TW filed for bankruptcy protection in March 2003.

"About 20 million in cash is on hand to pay bankruptcy bills and unsecured creditors of TW," Mr. Minuti said.
