Cybersecurity and Privacy Chair April Doss is quoted in this Law360 article discussing murmurs of the Federal Trade Commission imposing a fine on Facebook for its data leak. According to April, the fee could be significant.

"The FTC put Facebook on notice that it was very concerned about its data practices, and the events of the last couple of years have done nothing to diminish that concern," said April. "Against that backdrop, I think that if the FTC is indeed considering a significant fine, that would be very consistent with the public mood both inside the U.S. and internationally, where there is a growing chorus of concern about Facebook's privacy and data security practices."
