Kathleen Lach was an Ethics Panelist at the ISBA Federal Tax Conference

Lach[/caption] Chicago partner Kathleen Lach sat on an interactive ethics panel at the Illinois State Bar Association’s 2015 Federal Tax Conference on Friday, February 6. She was joined by Clair Penner of Nepple Law, PLC and Scott Renfroe of the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission. The panel was called “Ethics for the Tax Lawyer: Testing Your Knowledge of the Rules of Professional Responsibility,” and it polled the audience on ethical topics. These included developments in the new Circular 230 Regulations and subsequent ABA Formal Opinions issues. Recent changes to the ABA Model Rules and the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct were also discussed.
