John P. Englert, a partner in the Energy, Environment and Utilities Department, is the focus of this story about his decision to join Saul Ewing’s Pittsburgh office. "I bring a little bit of a broader perspective than some other attorneys who practice environmental law and I think (the firm’s leaders) appreciate that and look at that as a strength,” he said. “I grew up in the nuclear-remediation business, so I’ve got a strong portfolio in hazardous and radioactive waste management that has gone over into safety operations. Complementing that with my environmental practice builds out a bit of a different skill set than many other folks who bill themselves as energy lawyers.”
